The suite is dedicated to Ludwig Winter, the German botanist who designed the residence’s historic park. During the stays which saw the design and construction of the park, Winter was a guest in this very room, which features two large windows that overlook the north, north-west side of the garden which is home to a small lake with a statue of Venus and groups of peonies and agapanthus.
The suite features a large double bed (that can be separated into singles) that forms part of an English-style room (wardrobe, dresser, chest of drawers and writing desk).
The walls are decorated with cream-coloured wallpaper with drawings of palm trees and palm fruits.
The large bathroom, dating from the late 19th century, is clad in pink Portuguese marble. A useful vestiaire and a large wardrobe can be found in the space between the bedroom and the bathroom.
The suite comes with satellite television, a mini-bar, telephone and wi-fi.
